Enterramiento Argar

On the occasion of the publication of the book The Archaeology of Bronze Age Iberia. Argaric Societies (Routledge, 2015), the National Archaeological Museum organizes a roundtable on the Bronze Age societies of the Iberian Peninsula.

Attention will be paid to aspects such as the state of the art of research, the novelties occurred in recent years, the differences and similarities between Argaric communities and other contemporary social groups and how the different cultural pathways can be assessed in terms of social complexity.

The genealogy of the archaeological narratives will be especially emphasised exploring critically the values and interests behind the current discourses.
