Naples

Among the thirty-five postcards of Naples, there are some nice panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius and the port, the work of the well-known Napolitan photographer and publisher SAGRI.

Many others are Greek and Roman sculptures and paintings from Pompeii which were in the former National Museum of Naples, the present-day National Archaeological Museum, by publishers D. Trampetti and Alinari.

After the trip, almost certainly to make them more useful for teaching purposes, many of the postcards were organized by Emilio Camps into pairs on a single backing, with a title and notes about where they were from.
