Of their one-day excursion to Siena from Florence, we have a group of eight postcards of the city’s most important features: the Piazza del Campo, then called the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, the Palazzo Pubblico and the Tower of Mangia, the Palazzo Salimbeni and the interior of the cathedral.

Most were published by the well-known Sienese firm Stefano Venturini. Emilio Camps sent one of the postcards from Siena to his family, and added it to the collection later.
