Thanks to the building's interesting architecture and recent renovations, the National Archaeological Museum has been included on the list of places to visit recommended by the Professional Architects' Association of Madrid (COAM).

During the 11th Architecture Week, the museum will open up all of its public areas to visitors, including the Great Halls and historic staircase, and free guided tours of these spaces will be organised by the COAM.
