In recent decades, in the field of the arts, new lines of research have been opened to analyze the activity of women as promoters of works of art, donors or users, and which show us a more complex reality in which they were also protagonists.

This round table will bring together members of the MARCAM research team in an agile and participatory format: “Women and the arts in Medieval Castilla. Promotion, reception and capacities for action” (PID2021-128754NA-I00). Researchers, museum professionals and teachers at various levels (university or secondary) will discuss the presence and participation of women in the history of medieval art in different fields.
