Spain is one of the world's richest nations in terms of cultural property included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, in part thanks to archaeological scholarship and interpretation. Many of the pieces on display at the Archaeological Museum came from or are associated with World Heritage Sites and monuments, which is why we are eager to share and disseminate this legacy.
