We present the results of the project Deciphering Roman inscriptions in 3-D. Virtual epigraphic science (FCT-13-6025) , funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology-Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (FECYT-MINECO) and the University of Las Palmas, through the Research Institute for Textual Analysis and Applications.
It's a project of scientific innovation which connect the experience in basic research in Humanities with technology research in engineering graphics, to bring a selection of Roman inscriptions from the MAN to younger students and general public.
Some researchers from spanish universities and research centers, as well as teachers in Secondary Education with extensive experience in teaching of Latin and Classical Culture, have worked in this project during 2014 and 2015.
