Exhibit of the Month
The coin cabinet of Infante Gabriel, son of Charles III, was part of his collection of coins and medals, the best one of his day. It also contained matrices, seals, weapons, weights, cameos, rare books and other antiques. All of these objects were held at the Royal Library, which Philip V opened to the public for all his subjects to study and enjoy.
