Many of the 69 postcards of Arles are of objects from the Roman era in the Lapidary Museum, photographed by Rose Agard. Some of them show a glimpse of the museum, providing an interesting example of the museology of the time.
The rest are views of the city, its Roman monuments and the Alyscamps and the Romanesque church of Saint Trophime and the Benedictine Abbey of Montmajour.
