In Sicily, the journey was focused on the city of Palermo, with excursions to Cefalú and Monreale, from where there are numerous postcards of the Norman monuments, churches, etc., both photographed by Camps and commercial. Only some of the postcards are of archaeological subjects, because they did not visit any archaeological site, although Emilio Camps bought eight postcards of Greek monuments in Agrigento, Segesta, Tindari and Taormina, most of which were made from older photographs,, possibly from the end of the 19th century.
