Monreale

This series of twenty graphic documents actually consists of forty postcards mounted in pairs on a secondary support surface with short notes on their provenance.

They may all be photographs taken by Camps himself, revealing his keen interest in medieval architecture and the details of columns in the Romanesque Benedictine cloister adjacent to the Norman cathedral of Monreale, of which he made copious notes and sketches in his journal.
