Segesta

The three postcards from the Greek city of Segesta show the theatre and large Doric temple as they were before 1930.

Two of them, sepia-toned prints by Edizioni Francesco Verderosa, are from the final decades of the 19th century, while the other two, taken slightly before 1930, prove that this ancient site was already being visited by tour groups at that time.
