The National Archaeological Museum’s photographic archives cover a wide range of themes, chronological periods and typologies, and are therefore of incalculable documentary and historical value. This graphic documentation includes the museum’s own cultural assets as well as those of other institutions, making it an indispensable resource for studying the history of archaeology and museology in Spain, as well as the history of photography itself.
