This project aims to study the causes of economic and social transformations derived from the specialisation of certain crafts and how this affected the circulation of specific products in the southern Iberian Peninsula between the mid-sixth and early third millennium.

In particular, the study will examine pottery and textile production, as well as hide tanning and lithic technology. An analysis of the areas where raw materials were procured for these production activities will shed light on the mobility of these groups and the social networks of these Neolithic communities.
