After its architectural reform, the spaces of the Museum acquired a new configuration with a significant increase in usable areas and service areas for visitors.

Spread over six floors, with a total size of almost 30,000 m2, the building has 18,304 m2 for public uses and 8,705 m2 for internal use. It stresses the reception area with about 1,800 m2, which greatly improves distribution and circulation of the public, also including services such as cafeteria, shop and activity rooms, and an area of 9,239 m2 dedicated to the permanent exhibition.
