Egyptian and Oriental Antiquities

A popular trend in the exhibition design of the day was to recreate atmospheres, and some of the galleries were decorated with mural paintings associated with their contents. This decoration was made by Arturo Mélida and is based on the motifs he designed for the Natural History and Ethnography Exhibition.
