1940-1951 The “Museum in Brief”

The hardships of the post-war period prevented the installation of the entire former exhibition and the museum no longer had use of all the original galleries, as part of the building was now occupied by other institutions. In order to re-open to the public, a simple installation consisting of a selection of the most important pieces was created. Known as the “Museum in Brief”, this installation lasted longer than expected, until 1951.
