Coin and Glyptics Cabinet

Display furniture virtually disappeared from the museum, surviving only in the Coin Cabinet, where the exhibition was more historicist. After 1951 the Coin Cabinet was dismantled and the Royal Apothecary cupboards were moved to the Great Halls to accommodate part of the library collection.
