Calle Serrano facade: museums entrance, 1917. MAN Guía histórica y descriptiva del Museo Arqueológico Nacional.

The Serrano facade was noted for its modest forms and austere decoration. Two stone sculptures of Berruguete and Velázquez adorn the portal, while the entrance steps are flanked by two bronze sphinxes by Felipe Moratilla.
